The challenge

For a studio, the portfolio site isn't just a place to list projects — it's a project in itself, and the first thing anyone judges us by. It needed to hold up to the same standard we hold client work to: clean structure, considered responsive behavior, and no shortcuts.

What we built

A Next.js site built around one consistent design system — a single set of colors, type, and components reused across every page rather than one-off styling per section. Every page was carefully structured; a few text-heavy pages intentionally share one layout instead of a bespoke design each, since redesigning near-identical structure page by page would have added complexity without adding value — a call made deliberately, not skipped.

Feature spotlight: it never really launches

Unlike most of our case studies, this one doesn't have a finish line. It's the one project we're always shipping small improvements to — new sections, better responsive behavior, new case studies like this one — in the same repo, the same way we'd iterate on a client's product post-launch.
